Disclosures

Effective date: October 28, 2026

Who runs these sites

Services on stevenpalmieri.com and every other website Steven Palmieri operates are provided by Steven Palmieri, Dallas, Texas. Steven Palmieri is a Tax CFO and the Entrepreneur's CFO. Steven Palmieri is the brand name used by Palmieri Enterprises, Inc., a Dallas, Texas business. Each of our sites links here from its own Disclosures page, and the notes that used to sit in their footers are on this page now. We work with owners by video across the country, and in person around Dallas when that helps.

What we do, and where others come in

  • We keep books, close the month, prepare and plan taxes, and give owners Tax CFO advice.
  • Steven Palmieri is not a CPA, and the practice is not a CPA firm; we're the Tax CFO alternative. Texas law (Occupations Code, Chapter 901) keeps signed audits, reviews and compilations for licensed firms, so when a lender or buyer needs one, we refer you to a firm that holds that license and keep your books ready for it. The financial statements we prepare carry no audit opinion.
  • Payroll is setup only. We help you choose a payroll provider and set it up with you, including the wage accounts in your books. You run each payday with the provider you pick, and the provider sends the payments and the tax deposits.
  • IRS letters. When the IRS sends a notice, we help you read it, gather your records and draft your reply. If a case moves to an examination, an appeal or collections, we help you find an enrolled agent or an attorney to represent you.
  • Legal questions. A lawyer handles company agreements, personal liability and asset protection. We're glad to work alongside yours.

The pages are general information

Every page on our sites is general information for business owners. Reading a page or answering a quiz doesn't start an engagement, and it isn't a recommendation for your own numbers. We look at your own numbers with you on a free 30-minute call.

How our pages are written

Pages on our sites are researched from the practice's own work and from official sources, drafted with software assistance, and reviewed by a person under the practice's editorial standards before they go up. If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it. We correct or replace a wrong sentence, and when the IRS or the state changes a form or a figure, we update the page and say which year the new figure applies to.

Figures and examples

  • A figure goes on a page only with the office that published it: mostly the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the Texas Comptroller and the Texas Workforce Commission. When a figure changes each year, the page says which year it's for.
  • Worked examples use made-up owners and round numbers, and each one says so. No example uses a client's name or figures unless that client agreed in writing and every detail that could point to them is gone.
  • An example shows how the math works. Your own result depends on your numbers.

Our pictures show people at work, ledgers and shops, plus local photos on pages for local owners. Some sites list photo credits on their own Credits page. Our sites link to stevenpalmieri.com, where you can read about the practice and the policies that cover every site.

Notes for each site

Some sites add a note about their own topic or their own form. Those notes are here.

S Corp Tax Strategies (scorptaxstrategies.com)

The form asks how you pay yourself now: a salary through payroll, owner draws with no payroll yet, or not sure. We keep your choice with your note so the first reply doesn't have to ask again. We send your details to a payroll provider only when you ask us to, and only to the provider you chose. If you send payroll reports and then decide not to go ahead, tell us and we'll stop using them.

Register S Corp (registerscorp.com)

Forming the company with the state and electing S corp status with the IRS on Form 2553 are separate steps. We treat the IRS acceptance letter as the proof of an election. If an election is late, relief under Revenue Procedure 2013-30 is a request we help you prepare, and the IRS decides it.

Establish S Corp (establishscorp.com)

You pay state filing fees to the state directly, and they never pass through the practice. A price we mention on a call is an estimate until the engagement letter is signed. Under FinCEN's March 2025 rule, companies formed in the United States don't file a beneficial ownership information report.

Tax Planning for Small Business Owners (taxplanningforsmallbusinessowners.com)

Most owners choose a monthly retainer or a fixed-fee project, and asking questions doesn't change the price of later work. If two owners of the company join the call, both hear the same explanation. After an engagement letter is signed, documents come to us through a secure upload link. We record the wages in your books after each payroll your provider runs.

LLC Tax Deductions (llctaxdeductions.com)

The short form asks how your LLC files its taxes, your phone number and your name. The longer form also asks for your email, a size range and when your books were last up to date. Pricing a year, writing a letter to a tax agency and changing how your LLC files are paid work.

LLC Write Offs (llcwriteoffs.com)

The form keeps the size band you picked, when your books were last closed, and what you wrote about the receipt. This site runs no visitor identification service, and the pages you open are counted as page views, never built into a profile of your company.

Pays Less Taxes (payslesstaxes.com)

The profit question is a range you pick from a list, and there's no box for a tax ID or a full account number. Please keep other people's returns, K-1s and ID numbers out of the form. If you tell us your books are current, we take that as your word that they match your bank statements. You approve each payroll in your provider's account. The 2026 limits on these pages, such as the 401(k), IRA, HSA, Section 179 and QBI figures, the standard deduction and the mileage rate, come from irs.gov and were checked on October 26, 2026. Each limit is the most the law allows for that year.

The Bill Explained (whydoiowesomuchintaxes.com)

The form keeps the answers you pick and the tax year you mention. The pages draw on IRS Topics 306, 554 and 560, Publications 15 and 505, the 2026 Form 1040-ES, Forms W-4R and W-4V, and Revenue Procedure 2025-32. An earlier version of this site's privacy page said it carried no advertising tag. Its quiz pages now carry the Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising tags described on our Privacy page.

Quarterly Estimated Taxes (quarterlyestimatedtaxes.com)

You make each estimated payment to the IRS yourself, through your IRS online account, Direct Pay, a card or a check. If you have payroll, the payroll company you pick runs each payday, makes the tax deposits and sends the W-2s. A total you mention in a note stays part of your request and is never published. The pages draw on IRS Publication 505, Form 1040-ES and the Form 2210 instructions. Steven Palmieri works with members of his family inside the practice.

Disregarded Entity LLC (disregardedentityllc.com)

We file only what you ask us to file. An election, if you want one, is a separate decision that you sign. Closing the chat doesn't delete a form you already sent.

Tax CFO Services (taxcfoservices.com)

A market figure on these pages comes with the name of the company that published it. If your books are behind, we catch them up first, and before anything is agreed, we tell you how long that would take and what it would cost. Once we set up your payroll provider, we check it against your books every month.

Tax CFO Texas (taxcfotexas.com)

We prepare Texas franchise tax reports. The reports we build for you are made with the help of AI tools. The interior pages use typefaces we host ourselves.

How to Lower My Tax (howtolowermytax.com)

We prepare and file business and personal tax returns, and results differ from one engagement to the next.

IRS CP2000 Notice (irscp2000notice.com)

A CP2000 notice proposes a change to a return. We help you read it, check it against your records and draft your response by the date on the notice. If the case moves to an examination or an appeal, we help you find an enrolled agent or an attorney to represent you.
