The delta town sits a short way north of the Rio Grande, between the beaches at South Padre and Falcon Reservoir, near Anzalduas, Bentsen park, and Santa Ana refuge. The crop the account hangs on the name is grapefruit. Highway 83 and the Missouri Pacific run through. John Shary and other businessmen bought ground northwest for an airfield and sold it at cost to the government. That field was Moore Air Force Base, later Tri-Cities Airport and then the Weaver H. Baker tuberculosis center, before flying resumed.
A grapefruit crate you sold is the crop lane. Moore Field, if you bill anything tied to that ground now, is an airfield lane, not citrus. A pallet you only cooled and released is not yours unless a fee stayed and you say so. The refuge, the park, and the reservoir are drives. They are not customers. A beach hotel is not this row.
Hidalgo is the roof under the shed. McAllen up the road has another row. A ticket whose saved place says McAllen leaves, even if the fruit grew nearer here. Oil found nearby in the account is not a crate. Skip the tourist slogan. The crate is enough.
