Baylor is not the line. Riesel is the line that stops short.
You searched Waco because every McLennan charge was priced at 8.25%. Waco is that figure, with a 1.5% city tax and a 0.5% county tax and no transit. Riesel is 8%. Mart in McLennan is 7.75%. Mart in Limestone is 7.25% and Limestone is not this metro. There is no Waco office to visit.
Baylor University moved to Waco in 1887. Paul Quinn College had opened in 1872. The suspension bridge and the Ranger museum inside rebuilt Fort Fisher are what the county page points to, along with McLennan Community College and Texas State Technical College-Waco. Cots, tents, mattresses, and barracks bags were wartime goods on the city page, which also places an ordnance plant at MacGregor, spelled that way there, plus a flying school and the field at China Spring. Connally closed in 1966. Cotton goods, tires, glass, furniture, and sporting goods fill the mid-century shop list. Cameron Park holds the zoo, and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame was added later. Farms in the county raise cattle, hay, sorghum, soybeans, and dairy animals. Bosque, once farming eased, shifted toward lumber, stone, limestone, and apparel. Falls kept cattle, sorghum, cotton, government work, and small industries. McLennan County is central. Bosque County and Falls County are outlying. Meridian and Marlin are the seats.
Riesel is the McLennan receipt that stops at 8%: town tax 1.25% rather than Waco's 1.5%, the same county half beside both, and Waco's line names no transit authority. Mart in McLennan is 7.75% from a 1% town tax plus that half. Mart in Limestone is 7.25% once the half disappears. Limestone is outside this metro.
A Baylor week and a Riesel week can share a highway. They do not share 8.25%.

Meridian and Marlin are the outlying seats. A limestone load in Bosque and a cattle sale in Falls are not McLennan chores just because the bridge is famous. Keep Riesel and both Marts visible on the prepared return, and write Limestone on the Mart amount that belongs there. Campus ledgers stay out. Steven notes every Riesel amount priced at 1.5% municipal and every Limestone Mart amount given McLennan's half point.
The note shows up with the return still correctable. Franchise paperwork is later. You can be in Waco, Meridian, or Marlin. No desk of this work is local. Cotton goods in a warehouse stay unsold. A paid zoo gate counts. The bridge itself is not a percentage. Sporting goods, glass, and tires sit on the mid-century industrial list as Waco's manufacturing memory, not as Riesel's percentage. Dairy cattle and soybeans can be sold in McLennan or in Falls. The rendition follows the property.
